I decided to start a new blog logging all of the free and cheap things to do as a family. The name of my blog is inspired by my dad. He taught us to be very thrifty and it has carried over into our family. I remember going on a date in high school and he handed my boyfriend a coupon for mini golf.
This summer I had the opportunity to stay home with my kids and I was always in search of something fun to do that didn't cost me anything. From shows at the library, food festivals and cheap day trips we had a great summer. In this blog I will write about our adventures and hopefully your family will want to try some of the things we have enjoyed.
